The short version
We collect the minimum needed to get spirit wear to your student: a name, an email address, and a phone number. We do not sell it, we do not advertise to you, and we do not track you across other websites.
What we collect
When you place an order, we store:
- Your name, email address, and phone number.
- The name and grade of the student the order is for, so the school knows who to hand it to. A donation on its own does not ask for this.
- What you ordered — products, sizes, colors, quantities, and the amount paid.
- A payment reference from Stripe, so we can match a payment to your order.
- The status history of your order, so you and the PTO can see where it is.
We never see or store your card details. Card information goes directly from your browser to Stripe, our payment processor. We receive only a reference number and whether the payment succeeded.
A student's name and grade are used only to get the order to the right child at school. We do not ask for a teacher, class, or anything else about them, and their name is never shown on the order tracking link.
If you sign up for PTO news, we keep whatever you gave us on that form — your name, the contact details you chose, and optionally a student name and grade — so we can send news and volunteer opportunities. That list is separate from your order.
How we use it
We use your information only to:
- Produce your order and get it to the right student at school.
- Send your order confirmation and let you know when it is ready.
- Answer you if you contact us about an order.
- Keep basic records of what the PTO sold and raised.
We only add you to the PTO news list if you ask us to — by using the sign-up form, or by ticking the box at checkout. Buying a t-shirt on its own never signs you up.
Who else sees it
Your information is shared only with the services needed to complete your order:
- Stripe — processes the payment and holds your card details under their own privacy policy.
- Deseret Peak Promo — the printer, who sees what was ordered so they can make it.
- Resend — delivers order emails to your inbox.
- Maple View Middle School PTO volunteers — sort orders and hand them to students.
We do not sell, rent, or trade your information, and we do not share it with advertisers.
Your order tracking link
Your confirmation email contains a private tracking link with a long, randomly generated code in it. Anyone who has that link can see the status of that order, so treat it as you would a receipt and avoid posting it publicly. The link shows order status only — it never shows payment details.
How long we keep it
Order records are kept while the PTO needs them for fundraising records and to resolve any problem with an order. If you would like your information removed after your order is complete, email us and we will delete it, apart from any minimal record we are required to keep for accounting.
Cookies
This site uses only what it needs to work: your shopping cart is stored in your own browser, and a session cookie is used if you are a PTO or vendor administrator signing in. There are no advertising cookies.
Visitor statistics
We use Vercel Analytics to count page views, so the PTO can see which items people look at and whether a sale is reaching families. It is cookie-free and does not follow you to other websites.
It records the page visited along with general technical details such as browser type, device, and country — never your name, email, or anything that identifies you personally, and it is never combined with your order.
Your choices
You can ask us what information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email mapleviewpto@gmail.com and we will take care of it.
Changes to this policy
If we change how information is handled, we will update this page and the revision date at the top.
